Abstract
The presents research work, entitled implementation of reading and writing activities for the teaching of English in the eleventh grade at San Juan Bautista la Salle school, was projected in the framework of obtaining a degree in education science with a major in English in Nueva Guinea, in order to strengthen the talent of teachers for the quality of the teaching and learning processes of the teaching and learning process of English as a second language. The subject was considered because the quality of learning would have to come from an earlier age, with solid foundations, scientific, pedagogical, humanistic and technological activities that contribute to the proper development of English as a second language. The purpose of this study is to analyze reading and writing activities for teaching English. The study had a descriptive qualitative approach using observation guides and classrooms interviews, which provided relevant information related to reading and writing activities in the teaching of English. The results of this study showed that there is a necessity to apply new activities to develop Reading and Writing Skills , which was reflected an unsatisfactory result because the same basic activities continue being carried out such as translating, dialogue, reading paragraphs, readings or writings and if they learn but the objective of the teachers were to achieve all objectives or improve performing more activities out of the routinary classes., although by applying the new activities in reading and writing the students learnt and acquired more knowledge and advanced learning in vocabulary and on the skills that were practiced. On the other hand, it was visualized that sometimes the students arrives to classes mentally tired, that is why it is important that the class must be dynamic, with new activities for students to de-stress and do not feel or see English as something boring or difficult because the mind does not help when they put thousands of obstacles because they can learn just to get out of the way or for the moment, but that is not what is intended when teaching.
