Abstract

The ICT classrooms are the educational innovation of the moment, providing tools that favor the learning and teaching of the language and also subjects in the educational field, the methodological guide can help the teacher to see what activities can be carried out with the resources provided by the school according to the objectives of the subject. This study was carried out with the purpose of creating a methodological guide to be applied in the ICT classroom and its resources to develop the teaching and learning of the English language in eighth grade at Colegio San Juan Bautista de la Salle, in the second semester of 2022 in the city of Nueva Guinea. The type of this study is descriptive and focuses on describing and classifying the tools available and activities that the teacher can perform to integrate technology in the classroom and thus create a methodological guide to facilitate the teaching and learning of the English language. This study is qualitative, because the information was obtained through instruments applied to obtain information to classify the activities according to the English language skills and its sub-skills. The results of both instruments were positive about the use of ICT resources for thteaching and learning of the English language that are implemented in the San JuaBautista de la Salle school, in conclusion, the use of technologies in the educationenvironment has a positive impact on academic learning. On the one hand, increases the motivation and interactivity of the students and helps the teacher to bmore dynamic and innovative. On the other hand, it fosters cooperation amonstudents and encourages initiative and creativity.
